This book was a classic whodunnit. I loved it! I highly recommend if youโ€™re looking for a twisty, fast paced, gothic thriller where youโ€™re never quite sure where itโ€™s going until the very last page.

Foe by iain Reid

image contains the Foe book cover by Iain Reid on a Canva background

A dystopian future mixed with the study of a marriage and some ethical questions posed along the way. Intriguing, dark, gloomy, frustrating and will keep you guessing until the end.

Flowers For Algernon by Daniel Keyes

A Kindle image of Flowers For Algernon by Daniel Keyes with a frame of a rat a grave with flowers and a lightbulb

Flowers for Algernon is beautifully but devastatingly written. This is very much a human, deeply ethical story despite being labelled as science fiction.

Cover of [Book Title] by [Author], showing [visual description] My copy of The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman on a yellow texture background

A terrifying, but ultimately sad, thought-provoking glimpse into a society that didnโ€™t understand mental health or women.
