🧠 My Thoughts
Absolutely loved this! I find Stephen King to be one of the most honest, fluent writers ever. He could write about the most mundane of things and I would still be fascinated. Reading it was like having a conversation with your best friend. I loved reading about how some of my favourite books were written, it felt like the magician was revealing his tricks. His relationship with his wife is really beautiful too, I loved reading about her contributions to Carrie.
Amazing book and I’ve picked up so many ideas for writing. I was quite surprised to discover some of Stephens’ processes and it’s made me reassess my thoughts on the writing process.
Thank you for this wonderful book and not giving up on it!
